The NC National Guard Armory at Clinton, NC is designed to provide administration, maintenance, training and supply facilities for a 200 person motorized guard facility.

The armory is a two story structure. The building is steel framed with exterior and interior masonry walls. The exterior finish is synthetic stucco. The ground floor is slab on grade, the second floor is cast in place concrete over a metal deck. The roofing system is a sloped standing seam metal roof.

The building is orientated to provide maximum summertime solar shading and maximum wintertime solar gain. The building envelope provides a very efficient thermal envelope.
